(Authorisation of Use)
Notification 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Road Traffic (Authorisation of Use) Notification 2020.

Authorised use of vehicle

2.—(1) Subject to sub‑paragraph (2), the vehicle bearing the registration number SG4004B and which does not comply with the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules (R 9) is authorised for use on the routes specified in the Schedule from 9 March 2020 to 8 March 2021 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The authorisation in sub‑paragraph (1) is subject to the following conditions:

(a)	there must be in force at all times a policy of insurance, in relation to the vehicle, insuring against any liability in respect of damage to any property or the death of, or bodily injury sustained by, any person caused by or arising out of the use of the vehicle;
(b)	there must, at all times, be a valid special purpose licence issued under section 28A(3) of the Act in respect of the vehicle.
