Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Approved Institutions) (Amendment)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment) Notification 2018 and, except for paragraph 2(a), is deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2018.

(2) Paragraph 2(a) comes into operation on 31 March 2018.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 53; and

(b)

by deleting items 69 to 73 and substituting the following items:

“69.	Anglican Care Centre (Bukit Batok)

70.	Anglican Care Centre (Pasir Ris)

71.	Anglican Care Centre (Yishun)

72.	Anglican Care Centre (Hougang)

73.	Anglican Care Centre (Simei)”.
