Fisheries (Import, Export and Marketing) (Amendment) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Fisheries Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Fisheries (Import, Export and Marketing) (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Fisheries (Import, Export and Marketing) Rules (R 1) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

“THE SCHEDULE

Rules 8(2), 10(2) and 11(3)

(1)	For a licence to auction or sell fish by wholesale in a market or collecting depot

$3,600 per annum

(2)	For a licence to import, export or tranship ornamental fish

$350 per annum

(3)	For a licence to import, export or tranship fish other than ornamental fish

$75 per annum

(4)	For a certified true copy of a document

$6 per copy

(5)	For a permit or renewal of a permit to enter and auction or sell fish by wholesale in a market or collecting depot

$35 per annum

(6)	For a permit or renewal of a permit to enter and use facilities in a market or collecting depot

$7 per annum

(7)	For inspection and health certification of fish:

(a)	inspection of fish

(i)	professional service fee:

(A)	$50 per hour or part thereof

(B)	$100 per hour or part thereof (outside office hours or on an urgent basis)

(ii)	technical service fee:

(A)	$30 per hour or part thereof

(B)	$60 per hour or part thereof (outside office hours or on an urgent basis)

(b)	issue of health certificate

$12 per certificate

(8)	For membership in the Accredited Ornamental Fish Exporter Scheme

$800 per annum

(9)	For the approval of inward, outward or transhipment declarations (Permit fee)

$2.50 per declaration

(10)	For the registration of Dragon Fish

$30 per fish

(11)	For determining the presence of Spring Viraemia of Carp Virus (SVCV) in fish

$200 per test.”.
