Appointment of Controller, Deputy Controllers and Assistant Controllers of Weights and Measures and Weights and Measures Inspectors

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(1) of the Weights and Measures Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry has appointed, with effect from 1st April 2000 —

(a)	the General Manager, Standards and Metrology Division, Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, to be the Controller of Weights and Measures;
(b)	the Divisional Director and the Deputy Divisional Director, Standards and Metrology Division, Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, to be the Deputy Controllers of Weights and Measures;
(c)	the Director and the Deputy Director of the Standards and Metrology Division, Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, in charge of weights and measures matters, to be the Assistant Controllers of Weights and Measures; and
(d)	all other officers of the Standards and Metrology Division, Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, in charge of weights and measures matters, to be Weights and Measures Inspectors.

2. Notification No. N 1 is cancelled.
