Environmental Protection and
Management (Exemption) Order 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 75 of the Environmental Protection and Management Act, the National Environment Agency makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Environmental Protection and Management (Exemption) Order 2018 and comes into operation on 1 April 2018.
Exemption
2.—(1)  Sections 22(1) and 23(1) of the Act do not apply to any person who, within Singapore, possesses for sale, sells, or offers for sale any of the following substances:
(a)Chlorofluorocarbons:
(i)Chloroheptafluoropropane;
(ii)Chloropentafluoroethane;
(iii)Chlorotrifluoromethane;
(iv)Dichlorodifluoromethane;
(v)Dichlorohexafluoropropane;
(vi)Dichlorotetrafluoroethane;
(vii)Heptachlorofluoropropane;
(viii)Hexachlorodifluoropropane;
(ix)Pentachlorofluoroethane;
(x)Pentachlorotrifluoropropane;
(xi)Tetrachlorodifluoroethane;
(xii)Tetrachlorotetrafluoropropane;
(xiii)Trichlorofluoromethane;
(xiv)Trichloropentafluoropropane;
(xv)Trichlorotrifluoroethane;
(b)Halons:
(i)Bromochlorodifluoromethane;
(ii)Bromochloromethane;
(iii)Bromotrifluoromethane;
(iv)Dibromotetrafluoroethane;
(c)Hydrochlorofluorocarbons:
(i)1,1‑dichloro‑1‑fluoro‑ethane;
(ii)1,1‑dichloro‑2,2,3,3,3‑pentafluoropropane;
(iii)1,3‑dichloro‑1,2,2,3,3‑pentafluoropropane;
(iv)1‑chloro‑1,1‑difluoro‑ethane;
(v)Chlorodifluoroethane;
(vi)Chlorodifluoromethane;
(vii)Chlorodifluoropropane;
