Environmental Pollution Control (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations 1999 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Pollution Control (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1999. |

2. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —

Measurement point and equipment |
4.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the measurement points to be used for the measurement of noise levels for the purposes of these Regulations shall be points at or about ground level along the boundary of the factory premises which faces —

Equipment to measure and record noise level to be set up |
5. The Director may require the owner or occupier of any factory premises, or any building or part thereof within any factory premises —

Penalty |
6. Any person who fails to comply with regulation 3 or 5 shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable —

Revocation |
7. The Environmental Public Health (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations (Cap.95, Rg 17) are revoked. |
