(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 104(3) of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 25 March 2019.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting “, 79” in paragraph (a)(i);

(b)

by deleting “78,” in paragraph (a)(ii);

(c)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (aa), the following paragraph:

“(ab)

any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 79(6) of the Act;”;

(d)

by deleting the word “; and” at the end of paragraph (i) and substituting a full‑stop; and

(e)

by deleting paragraph (j).
