Fisheries (Fish Culture Farms) (Amendment) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Fisheries Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Fisheries (Fish Culture Farms) (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Amendment of rule 10

2. Rule 10 of the Fisheries (Fish Culture Farms) Rules (R 7) is amended by deleting paragraph (4).

Amendment of Schedule

3. Paragraph 8 of the Schedule to the Fisheries (Fish Culture Farms) Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “fish culture farm” in the second line and substituting the words “commercial fishing establishment (fish culture farm)”; and
(b)	by deleting “$470” in the fifth line and substituting “$550”. [G.N. Nos. S 274/92; S 239/93; S 347/94]
