(Chapter 70)
Customs (Amendment) Regulations 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 143 of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.
Amendment of regulation 7
2.  Regulation 7 of the Customs Regulations (Rg 2) is amended —
(a)by deleting “$7” in the last line of paragraph (4) and substituting “$4”;
(b)by deleting paragraph (5); and
(c)by renumbering paragraph (6) as paragraph (5).
Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  The Second Schedule to the Customs Regulations is amended by deleting “$30,000” in item 6 and substituting “$32,000”.
