Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 411 of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into operation on 13th January 2003.

Deletion of regulations 2, 5A, 6, 8, 8A, 10, 12 to 17, 26, 27, 28, 68, 87 and 89A

2. Regulations 2, 5A, 6, 8, 8A, 10, 12 to 17, 26, 27, 28, 68, 87 and 89A of the Companies Regulations (Rg 1) are deleted.

Amendment of regulation 3

3. Regulation 3 of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (3).

Amendment of regulation 7

4. Regulation 7 of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting paragraphs (4), (6), (7) and (8) to (11).

Amendment of regulation 32

5. Regulation 32 of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (2).

Amendment of regulation 40

6. Regulation 40(1) of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Form 63I in the Second Schedule in the case of the notice and Form 93 in the Second Schedule in the case of the copy of the order” in the 10th to 12th lines and substituting the words “the applicable regulation of the Companies (Filing of Documents) Regulations 2003 (G.N. No. S 17/2003)”.

Deletion and substitution of First Schedule

7. The First Schedule to the Companies Regulations is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
