Registration of Deeds (Amendment) Rules 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Registration of Deeds Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Deeds (Amendment) Rules 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1996.

2. The First Schedule to the Registration of Deeds Rules is amended by deleting item 6 and substituting the following item:

“6. Application for official search, including the issue of a certificate of the search, of each lot in the Registry of any books, indices or documents kept under the Act or any previous written law and any rules made thereunder and in the Lot Base System
