COVID-19 (Temporary Measures for
Solemnization and Registration of
Marriages) (Specified Period) Order 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (b) of the definition of “specified period” in section 2(6) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures for Solemnization and Registration of Marriages) Act 2020, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures for Solemnization and Registration of Marriages) (Specified Period) Order 2023.

Specified period

2. For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “specified period” in section 2(6) of the Act, the further period of 1 April 2023 to 30 September 2023 (both dates inclusive) is prescribed.
