Citation and commencement |
1. This Order is the Active Mobility (Exemption for Sale of Certain Personal Mobility Devices) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 March 2024. |

Exemption for warning notices relating to non‑motorised three‑wheeled pedal cycles and non‑motorised recumbent devices |
3. Section 31(1) of the Act does not apply to a person in respect of a requirement to display any warning notice stating to the effect that the riding of a non‑motorised three‑wheeled pedal cycle or non‑motorised recumbent device on any road is unlawful. |
Exemption for sale of non‑motorised three‑wheeled pedal cycles and non‑motorised recumbent devices |
4. Section 33(1) of the Act does not apply to a person in respect of the sale or offer for sale of a non‑motorised three‑wheeled pedal cycle or non‑motorised recumbent device that complies with the Road Traffic (Bicycles, Three‑wheeled Pedal Cycles and Recumbent Devices — Construction and Use) Rules 2024. |
