Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(2)(e) of the Land Surveyors Act, the Land Surveyors Board, with the approval of the Minister for Law, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) Rules 1998 (G.N. No. S 112/98) (referred to in these Rules as the principal Rules) is amended by deleting the words “title surveys” and substituting the words “cadastral surveys”.

Amendment of rule 4

3. Rule 4 of the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “chains and” in the 3rd line.

Amendment of rule 5

4. Rule 5 of the principal Rules is amended by deleting paragraph (2).

Amendment of Schedule

5. The Schedule to the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “title surveys” in the first column of item (9) and substituting the words “cadastral surveys”.
