Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1997

Constitution of the Republic of Singapore

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 110D (1), (2) and (4) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the President hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1997 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Amendment of item 2 in Schedule

2. Item 2 in the Schedule to the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) Order (O 2) (referred to in this Order as the principal Order) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the name “Mr Khaw Boon Wan” in the third column, the name “Mr Koh Yong Guan”; and

(b)

by deleting the following words in the third column:

“Mr Koh Yong Guan

Alternate member in place of Mr Lim Siong Guan.”.

Amendment of item 3 in Schedule

3. Item 3 in the Schedule to the principal Order is amended by deleting the following words in the third column:

“Mr Koh Yong Guan

Alternate member in place of Mr Lim Siong Guan.”.

Amendment of item 4 in Schedule

4. Item 4 in the Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the following words in the third column:

“Mr Koh Yong Guan

Alternate Chairman.”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the name “Mr Moses Lee Kim Poo” in the third column, the name “Mr Niam Chiang Meng”.

Amendment of item 5 in Schedule

5. Item 5 in the Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the name “Mr Lim Siong Guan” in the third column and substituting the name “Mr Koh Yong Guan”; and

(b)

by deleting the following words in the third column:

“Mr Koh Yong Guan

Alternate Chairman.”.

Amendment of item 6 in Schedule

6. Item 6 in the Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the name “Mr Lim Siong Guan” in the third column and substituting the name “Mr Koh Yong Guan”;

(b)

by deleting the following words in the third column:

“Mr Koh Yong Guan

Alternate Chairman.”; and

(c)

by deleting the name “Mr Er Kwong Wah” in the third column and substituting the following names:

“Mr Lim Siong Guan

Mr Chiang Chie Foo”.

Amendment of item 7 in Schedule

7. Item 7 in the Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the name “Mr Lim Siong Guan” in the third column and substituting the name “Mr Eddie Teo Chan Seng”;

(b)

by deleting the following words in the third column:

“Mr Koh Yong Guan

Alternate Chairman.”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the name “Mr Kishore Mahbubani” in the third column, the name “BG (NS) Tan Chin Tiong”.
