Medical Registration (Amendment) Regulations 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 58 of the Medical Registration Act, the Singapore Medical Council, with the approval of the Minister for Health, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Medical Registration (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1999.

Amendment of regulation 8

2. Regulation 8 of the Medical Registration Regulations 1998 (G.N. No. S208/98) is amended by deleting paragraph (3).

Amendment of regulation 9

3. Regulation 9(1) of the Medical Registration Regulations 1998 is amended by deleting the words “attend in person at the place fixed for the ballot and” in sub-paragraph (a).
