Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2003.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. Item 3 in the Second Schedule to the Registration of Births and Deaths Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting “$30” in paragraph (b) and substituting “$35”.
