Town Councils Act
(Chapter 329A)
Town Council of Aljunied (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Aljunied hereby makes the following By-laws:
Citation and commencement
1.  These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Aljunied (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2007 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 2007.
Amendment of by-law 3
2.  By-law 3 (2) of the Town Council of Aljunied (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2006 (G.N. No. S 703/2006) is amended by deleting the words “items 7 to 13” and substituting the words “items 7 to 13A”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Town Council of Aljunied (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2006 is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after item 13, the following item:
“
13A. Sports and recreation facilities run by non-profit making organisation and supported by the Football Association of Singapore, the Singapore Sports Council or the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports
 
31 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.
”; and
(b)by deleting item 17 and substituting the following item:
“
17. Residents’ Committee Centre, Citizens’ Consultative Committee Centre and Senior Citizens’ Centre
 
No charge.
”.
