(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Approved Middle-income Housing Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77 (1) (h) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consultation with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Approved Middle-Income Housing Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 15th April 2002.
Amendment of regulation 6
2.  The Central Provident Fund (Approved Middle-Income Housing Scheme) Regulations (Rg 4) are amended by renumbering regulation 6 as paragraph (1) of that regulation, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:
(2)  Where an application for the withdrawal of money under these Regulations has been approved by the Board and a member of the Fund is required to pay any costs, fees, stamp duties or other incidental expenses incurred in connection with the purchase of the property, the Board may, on the application of the member and on such terms and conditions as it may impose, authorise the whole or part of the amount standing to his credit in the Fund to be withdrawn and used for the payment.”.
