Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees) Act, the Minister for Foreign Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Fees) Order (O 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$22” in item 5 (1)(a) and substituting “$30”;
(b)	by deleting “$18” in item 5 (1)(b) and substituting “$30”;
(c)	by deleting “$15” in item 5 (3)(b) and substituting “$30”;
(d)	by deleting the words “$25 subject to a maximum of $75” in item 5 (6) and substituting the words “$40 subject to a maximum of $120”;
(e)	by deleting “$50” in item 6 (1) and substituting “$60”; and
(f)	by deleting “$55” in item 6 (2) and substituting “$70”. [G.N. Nos. S 616/98; S 44/99;S 132/99; S 229/99; S 455/99]
