Passports (Authorised Officers) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Passports Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Passports (Authorised Officers) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2006 and shall come into operation on 22nd March 2006.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 5
2.  Regulation 5 of the Passports (Authorised Officers) Regulations (Rg 2) is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Officers empowered to grant or endorse visa
5.  The following officers are empowered to grant a visa or endorse any travel document requiring a visa for Singapore:
(a)such officers of the Singapore Tourism Board Office in Los Angeles, United States of America, as may be authorised in writing by the Minister; and
(b)such officers as may be specified in the first column of the Second Schedule in respect of the organisation specified in the second column thereof, for as long as they are in the service of the organisation.”.
Deletion and substitution of Second Schedule
3.  The Second Schedule to the Passports (Authorised Officers) Regulations is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
