(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Central Provident Fund Act, Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister of State, Ministry of Education, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st January 2004.
Amendment of regulation 9
2.  Regulation 9 of the Central Provident Fund (Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme) Regulations (Rg 19) is amended —
(a)by inserting, at the end of paragraph (1)(b), the word “or”;
(b)by deleting sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph (1);
(c)by re-lettering sub-paragraph (d) of paragraph (1) as sub-paragraph (c); and
(d)by deleting the words “paragraph (1)(b), (c) or (d)” in paragraph (2) and substituting the words “paragraph (1)(b) or (c)”.
