(Amendment) Rules 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 52(2) of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Rules are the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Price Control of Aeronautical Charges) (Amendment) Rules 2023 and, except for rule 3, come into operation on 1 April 2023.

(2) Rule 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Amendment of rule 22

2. In the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Price Control of Aeronautical Charges) Rules 2009 (G.N. No. S 298/2009), in rule 22(5), in the definition of “accounting standards”, replace “Accounting Standards Council” with “Accounting Standards Committee”.

Miscellaneous amendments

3. In the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Price Control of Aeronautical Charges) Rules 2009 —

(a)	in rule 2(1), in the definition of “determination for the first regulatory period”, replace “Part IV” with “Part 4”;
(b)	in rule 22(2)(a)(i), replace “Part VI of the Companies Act (Cap. 50)” with “Part 6 of the Companies Act 1967”;
(c)	in rule 22(5), in the definition of “accounting standards”, replace “Part III of the Accounting Standards Act (Cap. 2B)” with “Part 3 of the Accounting Standards Act 2007”; and
(d)	in rule 22(5), in the definitions of “subsidiary” and “related corporation”, replace “(Cap. 50)” with “1967”.
