(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations are the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Licensing of Airport Operators) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and, except for regulation 3, come into operation on 1 April 2023.

(2) Regulation 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. In the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Licensing of Airport Operators) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 311/2009), in regulation 3(5), in the definition of “accounting standards”, replace “Accounting Standards Council” with “Accounting Standards Committee”.

Miscellaneous amendments

3. In the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Licensing of Airport Operators) Regulations 2009 —

(a)

in the following provisions, replace “Part VI of the Companies Act (Cap. 50)” with “Part 6 of the Companies Act 1967”:

Regulation 2, definition of “director’s report”

Regulation 3(1)(a);

(b)

in the following provisions, replace “(Cap. 50)” with “1967”:

Regulation 2, definition of “financial report”

Regulation 3(4);

(c)

in regulation 3(5), in the definition of “accounting standards”, replace “Part III of the Accounting Standards Act (Cap. 2B)” with “Part 3 of the Accounting Standards Act 2007”; and

(d)

in regulation 3(5), in the definitions of “subsidiary” and “related corporation”, after “Companies Act”, insert “1967”.
