Education Endowment Scheme (Prescribed Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (d) of the definition of “prescribed school” in section 2 (1) and section 24(f) of the Education Endowment Scheme Act, the Minister for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education Endowment Scheme (Prescribed Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st January 2005.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Education Endowment Scheme (Prescribed Schools) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item (1) under the heading “ Independent Schools”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item (8) under the heading “Independent Schools”, the following item:

“

(9) Hwa Chong Institution

1st January 2005.
