Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Composition of Offences) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act 1996, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Composition of Offences) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 9th April 1997.

Composition of offences

2. Any of the offences specified in —

(a)	Part I of the Schedule may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $500;
(b)	Part II of the Schedule may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $200; and
(c)	Part III of the Schedule may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $100.
