Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Government Contracts Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2003.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Part VI of the Schedule to the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2001 (G.N. No. S 370/2001) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Director-General of Customs and Excise” in the first column of item 4 and substituting the words “Director-General of Customs”;
(b)	by deleting the words “Deputy Director-General of Customs and Excise” in the first column of item 10 and substituting the words “Deputy Director-General of Customs”;
(c)	by deleting the words “Assistant Director-General, Customs and Excise” in the first column of item 18 and substituting the words “Assistant Director-General of Customs”;
(d)	by deleting the words “Commander, Customs and Excise” in the first column of item 19 and substituting the words “Commander, Singapore Customs”;
(e)	by deleting the words “Branch Head, Customs and Excise” in the first column of item 20 and substituting the words “Branch Head, Singapore Customs”; and
(f)	by deleting the words “Approving Officer of Expenditure Account, Customs and Excise” in the first column of item 25 and substituting the words “Approving Officer of Expenditure Account, Singapore Customs”. [G.N. Nos. S 449/2001; S 73/2002]
