(Chapter 6)
Air Navigation (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28A(2) of the Air Navigation Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Air Navigation (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2008.
Deletion and substitution of rule 2
2.  Rule 2 of the Air Navigation (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 1) is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:
“Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Minister or any officer authorised in that behalf by the Minister in accordance with section 28A of the Act:
(a)an offence under rule 6(5), 7(6), 8(4), 13, 17(5)(a), 18(5)(b) or 20(2) of the Air Navigation (Aviation Security) Order (O 5); and
(b)an offence under rule 10(3), 13(2), 14(2), 16(3) or 18 of the Air Navigation (Regulated Air Cargo Agents) Order 2008 (G.N. No. S 185/2008).”.
