Medical and Elderly Care Endowment
Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment)
Order 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment) Order 2017 and, except for paragraph 2(a), comes into operation on 16 January 2017.

(2) Paragraph 2(a) comes into operation on 13 February 2017.

Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule

2. Part 1 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item (8) in the second column of item 38, the following item:

“(9) St. Andrew’s Nursing Home (Henderson)”; and

(b)

by renumbering the existing item in the second column of item 44 as item (1), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“(2) NTUC Health Nursing Home (Chai Chee)”.
