Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (Commencement) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act 2004, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (Commencement) Notification 2005.

2. The Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act 2004 shall, with the exception of sections 11(2), (4) and (6), 12(2) and 33(8) and (9), Part VII, item (5) in the Third Schedule and items (9)(b), (11) and (12)(a) in the Fifth Schedule, come into operation on 1st April 2005.
