Customs Duties (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into operation on 17th April 1997.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  Item 37 in Part I of the Schedule to the Customs Duties (Exemption) Order (O 5) is amended —
(a)by deleting the word “and” at the end of condition (a) in column (4); and
(b)by deleting condition (b) in column (4) and substituting the following conditions:
(b)subject to the production of a certificate in such form as the Director-General shall direct; and
(c)that such vehicles are not resold or disposed of without the approval of the Director-General.”.
