Parking Places Act
(Chapter 214)
Parking Places (Provision of Parking Places and Parking Spaces) (Amendment) Rules 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1)(b) of the Parking Places Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Parking Places (Provision of Parking Places and Parking Spaces) (Amendment) Rules 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2010.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  Part I of the Schedule to the Parking Places (Provision of Parking Places and Parking Spaces) Rules (R 5) is amended by deleting item 9 and substituting the following item:
“
9.  Nursing homes
 
1 car parking space for every 12 beds.
”.
