Exemption from Part 2) Order 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  This Order is the Road Traffic (Coast Cycles Pte. Ltd. — Exemption from Part 2) Order 2022.
(2)  This Order is in force for the period between 22 March 2022 and 21 August 2022 (both dates inclusive).
Definitions
2.  In this Order, “specified road”, “trial”, and “trial power‑assisted bicycle” have the meanings given by paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic (Coast Cycles Pte. Ltd. — Exemption) Order 2022 (G.N. No. S 97/2022).
Exemption for use of trial power-assisted bicycle
3.  Part 2 of the Act does not apply to a person who uses, or causes or permits any other person to use, a trial power-assisted bicycle on a specified road during and in connection with the trial under the conditions mentioned in paragraph 3 of the Road Traffic (Coast Cycles Pte. Ltd. — Exemption) Order 2022.
