Hazardous Waste (Control of Export,
Import and Transit) (Amendment)
Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Act, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 April 2021.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$335” in item 1(a) and substituting “$370”;
(b)	by deleting “$125” in item 1(b) and substituting “$165”; and
(c)	by deleting “$45” in item 2 and substituting “$85”.
