Factories (Safety Training Courses) Order 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27A of the Factories Act, the Chief Inspector of Factories hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Factories (Safety Training Courses) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2001.
Persons to attend safety training courses
2.  The occupier of a factory shall ensure that the classes or description of persons employed in the factory set out in the first column of the Schedule attend the safety training courses conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Training and Promotion Centre or other training institutions approved by the Chief Inspector set out opposite thereto in the second column thereof.
Made this 23rd day of March 2001.
