Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 (1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 25th April 2003.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) Notification 2003 (G.N. No. S 33/2003) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after item 2 under the heading “(E) Ministry of Home Affairs” in Part I, the following item:

“2A.	Commissioner, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

$1,000”;

(b)	by inserting, immediately after item 21 under the heading “(A) Ministries and Organs of State” in Part II, the following item:

“22.	Assistant Principal Private Secretary to the President

$2,000’’;

(c)	by inserting, immediately after item 2 under the heading “(H) Ministry of Home Affairs” in Part II, the following item:

“2A.	Commissioner, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

$20,000”;

(d)	by inserting, immediately after item 6 under the heading “(H) Ministry of Home Affairs” in Part II, the following item:

“6A.	Deputy Commissioner, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

$10,000’’;

(e)	by inserting, immediately after item 9 under the heading “(H) Ministry of Home Affairs” in Part II, the following item:

“9A.	Director (Corporate Services), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

$10,000’’;

(f)	by inserting, immediately after item 11 under the heading “(H) Ministry of Home Affairs” in Part II, the following item:

“11A. Deputy Director (Corporate Services), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

$5,000’’;

(g)	by inserting, immediately after item 15 under the heading “(H) Ministry of Home Affairs” in Part II, the following item:

“16.	Head (Admin & Logistics), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

$3,000

”; and

(h)	by deleting the heading “(I) Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts” and the item relating thereto in Part II.
