(Chapter 35)
Census Notification 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Census Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.   This Notification may be cited as the Census Notification 2000 and shall come into operation on 24th April 2000.
Date of census and particulars
2.  For the purposes of the census of population directed to be taken throughout Singapore on 30th June 2000, particulars to be obtained in respect of persons within Singapore, and Singapore citizens and permanent residents who are residing outside Singapore, shall include the matters set out in the Schedule.
Made this 22nd day of April 2000.
