Customs (Offices and Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 143(1)(d) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Offices and Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall, with the exception of regulation 2(a) and (b), come into operation on 4th April 2005.

(2) Regulation 2(a) and (b) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st February 2004.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Customs (Offices and Stations) Regulations (Rg 7) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of item (25);

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of item (26) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“(27) Tanjong Pagar Scanning Station, 37 Keppel Road;”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item (27), the following item:

“(28) Pasir Panjang Scanning Station, 21 Harbour Drive.”.
