Government Contracts (Authorisation)
(Amendment) Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Government Contracts Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 28th April 2011.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2011 (G.N. No. S 196/2011) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 2 in Part V, the following items:

“

2A.	Director (Corporate Development Division)

(a)	Contracts for goods, services and construction services not exceeding $1 million.

(b)	Sponsorship Agreements.

(c)	Tenancy/Lease Agreements.

(d)	Licence Agreements.

2B.	Deputy Director (Finance Department)

(a)	Contracts for goods, services and construction services not exceeding $100,000.

(b)	Sponsorship Agreements not exceeding $100,000.

(c)	Tenancy/Lease Agreements.

(d)	Licence Agreements.

”;

(b)

by deleting “$80,000” in the second column of item 11 in Part XII and substituting “$3,000”; and

(c)

by deleting “$3,000” in the second column of item 18 in Part XII and substituting “$80,000”.
