Appointment of Authorised Officers

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Sewerage and Drainage Act, the Public Utilities Board has appointed the Engineering Service Officers and the Technical Support Officers of the Sewerage Department and the Drainage Department of the Public Utilities Board and the Pollution Control Department of the Ministry of the Environment to be authorised officers for the purposes of the Act, with effect from 1st April 2001.
