Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institution) Notification 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institution) Notification 2006 and shall come into operation on 18th January 2006.

Approved institution

2. The Minister hereby declares the Singapore Civil Defence Force Detention Barracks, 91 Jalan Bahar, Singapore 649735 to be an approved institution for the purpose of the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts and other persons under the Act.

Amendment of approved institution

3. Item (12) in the Schedule to the Notification relating to Approved Institutions (N 3) is deleted.
