Certificate of Appointment

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act, the Minister of State, Ministry of Community Development and Sports, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Community Development and Sports, has appointed the Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls, 91 Kovan Road, Singapore 540000, to be an approved home and approved school, with effect from 15th May 2002.

2. Item (8) under the heading “ Approved homes” of the Approved Homes and Approved Schools Notification (N 4) is deleted.
