Misuse of Drugs (Amendment) Regulations 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 43 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 17th May 1996.

2. Paragraph 6 of the Second Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately below the word “Triazolam”, the word “Zipeprol”.

3. Paragraph 1 of the Fourth Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately below the word “Eticylidine”, the word “Etryptamine”; and
(b)	by inserting, immediately below the word “Mescaline”, the word “Methcathinone”.
