Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Division of Fund-Related Assets in Matrimonial Proceedings) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 April 2021.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Central Provident Fund (Division of Fund‑Related Assets in Matrimonial Proceedings) Regulations (Rg 35) is amended by deleting the words “or (11E), 21(1), 21A(1), 21B(1), 27C(1)(v), 27D(1)(v), 27DA(1)(v)” in the definition of “specified charge or undertaking” and substituting the words “, (11E) or (11EB), 21(1), 21A(1), 21B(1), 27C(1)(v), 27D(1)(v), 27DA(1)(v), 27DB(2)(e)”.

Amendment of regulation 3

3. Regulation 3(2) of the Central Provident Fund (Division of Fund‑Related Assets in Matrimonial Proceedings) Regulations is amended by deleting the words “or 27DA(1)(iii)” and substituting the words “, 27DA(1)(iii) or 27DB(2)(c)”.
