Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Medifund Committees) (Amendment No. 3)
Order 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2018 and comes into operation on 1 May 2018.

Amendment of Part 2 of Schedule

2. Part 2 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “on or after 1 July 2015” in the third column of item 2, the words “but before 1 May 2018”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 8, the following items:

9.	Sengkang Health Medifund Committee

Alexandra Hospital

All classes of patients who receive treatment at any ward of the approved institution other than Wards 12 and 13, on or after 1 May 2018 but before 1 June 2018.

10.	National University Hospital Medifund Committee

Alexandra Hospital

All classes of patients who receive treatment at Wards 12 and 13 of the approved institution on or after 1 May 2018 but before 1 June 2018.

11.	National University Hospital Medifund Committee

Alexandra Hospital

All classes of patients who receive treatment at the approved institution on or after 1 June 2018.
