Women’s Charter
(Chapter 353)
Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 180(1) of the Women’s Charter, the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 2010 and shall come into operation on 16th April 2010.
Amendment of rule 14
2.  Rule 14 of the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) Rules (R 3) is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (3), the following paragraph:
“(4)  The Permanent Secretary may, in the circumstances of a particular case or a class of cases, waive the whole or any part of the fee specified in paragraph (1).”.
