(Chapter 247)
Cessation of Prison
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(c) of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby declares that the Abingdon Prison/Drug Rehabilitation Centre, 1A Moon Crescent, Singapore 499104 shall cease to be a prison for the purposes of the Act, with effect from 14th January 2000.
2.  Item (17) in the Schedule to the Declaration of Prisons (Consolidation) Notification (N 3) is deleted.
