Postal Services Act
(Chapter 237A)
Postal Services (Class Licence) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61 of the Postal Services Act, the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Postal Services (Class Licence) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into operation on 2nd May 2008.
Application
2.  The conditions specified in the Schedule to the Postal Services (Class Licence) Regulations 2005 as amended by regulation 3 shall apply to every class licence granted under those Regulations, whether granted before, on or after 2nd May 2008.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Postal Services (Class Licence) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 481/2005) is amended —
(a)by deleting paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 and substituting the following paragraph:
2.  The licensee must, upon delivery of each express letter, obtain a written acknowledgment of delivery from the person receiving the express letter.”; and
(b)by deleting paragraph 6.
