Poisons (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) of the Poisons Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Poisons (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1996.

2. The First Schedule to the Poisons (Hazardous Substances) Rules (R 2) is amended by deleting the following item:

“Sulphur in diesel oil in which the sulphur content is more than 0.5% by weight of the diesel oil.”,

and substituting the following item:

“Sulphur in diesel oil in which the sulphur content is more than 0.3% by weight of the diesel oil”.
