Poisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Poisons Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Poisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1996.

2. Part II of the Schedule to the Poisons Act is amended by deleting the following item:

“Sulphur in diesel oil in which the sulphur content is more than 0.5% by weight of the diesel oil”,

and substituting the following item:

“Sulphur in diesel oil in which the sulphur content is more than 0.3% by weight of the diesel oil”.
